Groups at Neuma
Sometimes growth happens best in the presence of others. Our therapy groups offer a supportive, professionally guided space where individuals can learn about and work through specific challenges alongside peers who understand what they’re facing.
Groups can be a powerful way to build insight, practice new skills, reduce isolation, and experience the healing that comes from honest connection. Many people find that hearing others put words to struggles they’ve carried alone brings relief, perspective, and hope.
Some groups focus on practical tools. Others offer a space for deeper reflection, personal growth, and meaningful conversation. In every case, groups are led with care, respect, and attention to emotional safety.
If you’ve ever felt stuck, alone in what you’re carrying, or ready for growth in a more connected setting, group work may be an excellent next step.
Upcoming Groups:
College Launch INtensive: A 4-Week Jumpstart
A Summer Group for College-Bound High School Graduates
Starting college is exciting—but it can also bring anxiety, loneliness, academic pressure, and uncertainty. Many students arrive on campus academically prepared, but not emotionally or socially prepared for the transition.
The College Launch Intensive is a small-group summer program for graduating high school seniors designed to help students build confidence, manage anxiety, make friends, stay motivated, and navigate college life with greater maturity and self-awareness.
Topics may include:
Coping with college anxiety and homesickness
Making friends and building healthy relationships
Time management, study skills, and motivation
Handling peer pressure and independence
Maintaining identity, values, and confidence during transition
Led by Zach Meyer, LPC, this group offers practical tools, honest conversation, and a supportive environment for students preparing for the next chapter.
Ideal For: Students heading to college who want to feel more confident, prepared, and grounded before move-in day.
