Consultation
Psychology is happening wherever people gather.
Schools, camps, churches, nonprofits, businesses, and families all develop patterns of communication, leadership, resilience, conflict, and care. And whether they’re aware of them or not, those patterns profoundly shape whether their people flourish or struggle.
At Neuma, we help organizations recognize the patterns shaping their culture so they can build greater health, resilience, and flourishing. Our consultation is informed by decades of clinical experience, practical leadership, and psychological science.
Our Areas of Consultation
Youth & Organizational Consultation
Led by Zach Meyer, LPC
Organizations that serve young people face increasingly complex developmental, emotional, and relational challenges. Whether supporting students, campers, artists, or emerging adults, leaders often find themselves navigating situations they were never trained to handle.
Zach is a licensed professional counselor specializing in adolescent and young adult development, student mental health, and identity development in the first two decades of life. He helps adults respond with confidence, wisdom, and practical strategies through professional development for faculty and staff, and educational programs for parents. In addition to more than two decades of clinical experience, he also draws upon significant experience in the performing arts, youth ministry and programming, and outdoor education.
Most recently, Zach has served as a consulting therapist at HoneyRock Camp in Three Lakes, WI. After a one-day intensive teaching coping and grounding techniques to counselors, he provides on-demand consultation, crisis management, and remote psychotherapy as needed to staff, counselors, and campers throughout the summer.
Possible consulting topics include:
Suicide prevention and self-injurious behaviors
Anxiety and depression
Stress management and relaxation skills
Mindfulness
Adversity and resiliency

Our Philosophy
Consultation is different from therapy.
Rather than focusing on the treatment of individuals, consultation helps leaders, organizations, couples, and communities make wiser decisions, strengthen relationships, and cultivate environments where people can thrive.
We believe the healthiest organizations are not those with the fewest problems, but those that know how to respond thoughtfully and skillfully when challenges arise. Our role is not to replace your leadership or your mission, but to strengthen them by bringing psychological insight into the places where people live, learn, work, worship, and create.
Our goal is always to bring psychological insight into real-world settings in ways that are thoughtful, practical, and deeply human.
What Consulting Might Look Like
Examples include:
A camp preparing staff before welcoming 500 campers.
A school requesting faculty training around anxiety and emotional resilience.
A church developing healthier support systems for members of every age.
A nonprofit seeking guidance after a mental health crisis.
A leadership team navigating conflict after a difficult organizational transition.
A couple’s retreat integrating psychological insight with practical relationship skills.
Every consulting relationship begins with a conversation. We’d love to learn about your organization, your goals, and the challenges you’re facing. If together we determine that we’re a good fit, we’ll work together to design a consultation that meets your needs.
